Erin Burmeister was born and raised in the South Denver area. Upon graduation Erin moved to Missouri as a newlywed and worked in marketing and advertising for KTVO-TV. After her stint in television she moved back to Denver and worked in large-scale event planning for Highlands Ranch Community Association.
As Erin’s relationship with God has grown, so has her desire to serve Him and be a light for Christ in her community. Erin has worked with several different organizations in various capacities over the years; from MOPS and church Bible studies to leading the Moms In Prayer group where her children attend elementary school. Human trafficking and the inner-city poor have set themselves apart as areas Erin has felt called to serve. She feels that the communities served by Soccer Chaplains United in the international scale fall within these categories and is confident that the efforts put forth minister to the poor around the world.
Erin Burmeister joined Soccer Chaplains United in early 2017 and serves as Community Coordinator for the Denver area. Erin enjoys helping to fulfill the ministry’s vision of providing meaningful service for the soccer community both locally and abroad. Erin spends her free time with her husband of 19 years and their three children who span high school to elementary school. Together they enjoy a variety of activities from arts and entertainment to sports and outdoor activities.
