• I am excited to announce that I've been invited to take part in a panel presentation at the annual United Soccer Coaches Convention. United Soccer Coaches, which rebranded last year, has the largest soccer coach membership base in the world. Coaches from across all levels of the sport gather each year at its annual convention. The convention, in January, usually sees thousands of  coaches gather for education, training, networking, and other soccer-related activities. Major League Soccer typically holds  its annual draft in conjunction with the convention. The draft and convention have also been the location for annual meetings hosted by Athletes in Action of those involved in chaplaincy amongst MLS, the United Soccer League (USL), and National Women's Soccer League

Currently, Soccer Chaplains United has chaplains at four USL teams — Charlotte Independence, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, Nashville SC, and Rio Grande Valley Toros FC. It is possible that one or more of those teams could have

  • Our friends over at Missionary Athletes International (MAI) have just recently announced their new CEO. MAI has some connections to Soccer Chaplains United as we have supported several former Major League Soccer and United Soccer League players that have played and spent time with their teams and organization. Additionally, a few of the high school and collegiate players that we have worked with have also worked with MAI. It's an important time for several soccer and ministry organizations, as there have been some key leadership changes and transitions in this year and in the next few years to come. Please keep MAI in your prayers. Below is from their announcement email a few days ago: The Board of Directors of
