Biography

Born in Wenatchee, Washington, Christina began serving the Portland Thorns as chaplain in 2019 after many years of being a season-ticket holder and fan.

Christina graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Human Development and Family Science. She has also taken courses with Dallas Theological Seminary and the Institute of Biblical Studies. She serves on staff with Cru City – Portland and alongside her husband, Andy, who leads a home church in the Woodstock neighborhood of Portland.

In her years of ministry service, Christina, has developed a supportive, and optimistic approach when it comes to interacting with a variety of personalities, spiritual interests and backgrounds. With a high value on diversity she works to cultivate accepting, trusting, and stable environments with which to work and serve individuals. She is passionate about bringing people together and cultivating a bonded community.

Christina and Andy have three children (Sunny, Jack, and Kai), all born in Portland. She enjoys cooking, hosting and opening her home, traveling without children, music, art, and watching sports (football, basketball, winter sports, soccer, and baseball) with her husband and children.
