Biography

Born in Waxahachie, Texas, Kim started serving Trinity International University soccer programs unofficially in 2016 and then officially as chaplain for the Trojan Men’s Soccer Program in December of 2017. She served TIU until the school shuttered it’s athletic programs in early 2023 and now is chaplain at Victory Christian in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Kim graduated from the University of Tulsa with a BA in English. She was received as a member of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries International in 2011 and was commissioned through her, then, local church, Immanuel Church, in Gurnee, Illinois.

Known affectionately as Miss Kim to the athletes she has served, Kim utilizes her gifts of teaching, discernment, and hospitality to provide care for many.

In addition to her chaplaincy work, she has the distinction of serving as mayor of the Town of Kiefer, Oklahoma for a number of years and has served in many church and non-profit organizations since.

Kim is married to David. Ashley and Chris, her two grown children, and Ruth, her daugher-in-law, are all part of her loving family and support team. She enjoys a variety of hobbies including cooking, crocheting, opening up her home, music, photography, and theater.
