Chaplain Greg Aydt
Memphis 901 FC
SINCE 2019
Biography
Greg Aydt is Assistant Pastor for Youth at St Patrick Presbyterian Church in Collierville, TN. A Northerner by birth but Southerner by the grace of God, Greg grew up near Philly, completed seminary near Pittsburgh, and has lived near Memphis for the last 8 years. He’s so gratefully married to Heather, with whom he’s trying to parent two amazing kids named Truett and Fiona.
He loves serving with others, which he does on the National Leadership Team for his denomination. He delights in seeing God use the Gospel to free people from shame, connect the Gospel with real life, and bring the Gospel into the rhythms of the home.
Much of Greg’s life has been at the intersection of soccer and Jesus. After playing soccer in high school, Greg decided to join a prison ministry soccer team. On the weekend, this team would travel to various prisons and share the Gospel around a soccer match with the inmates. As well, he became a soccer referee at the varsity level and participated in church soccer leagues as an outreach to unchurched soccer players. And as a youth director in Pennsylvania, he was privileged to coach the local high school soccer team.
When he’s got some free time, Greg enjoys reading good novels, playing disc golf, playground connoisseuring with his kids, and chess.

Greg served as chaplain to Memphis 901 FC starting with their inaugural season in 2019 until the team folded in 2025.
