Biography

Greg Joiner works with Search:Nashville a ministry aiding people searching for meaningful stories by asking life’s “big questions,” offering honest answers, and initiating meaningful conversations. Prior to joining Search, Greg served as a pastor for some 15 years.

Greg is a graduate of the University of Mobile where he played soccer. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Seminary and is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary where he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree. Greg has a real passion to see men take next steps in relationship towards God. Greg is author of the book RISER, a conversation tool for helping others in their spiritual journey.

Greg serves as volunteer chaplain to Nashville SC, a position he has held since 2023. He is licensed as a minister through Fellowship Bible Church.

Greg and his wife Ellen also own BEATBOXFIT, a fitness studio in Brentwood, TN. Ellen and Greg have been married 19 years and they have two children.

In addition to cheering on Nashville SC soccer, Greg also enjoys reading, writing, hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking, in his spare time. He is quickly becoming a fan of Leeds United in the English Premier League.
