Chaplain Geraud Brumfield

Central Valley Fuego FC

SINCE 2024

Geraud Brumfield was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and moved to Chamberburg, PA for high school. Upon graduation, he moved down the road to attend Shippensburg University where he received his degree in elementary education fulfilling a lifelong dream of being a teacher. Although not long after graduation, Geraud knew he was being called to be a college minister.

Starting in 2012, Geraud began to work for CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach), a campus ministry organization focused on partnering with the local church to love college students. This call moved Geraud to Clarion, PA where he served student athletes at Clarion University in partnership with Koinonia Christian Fellowship.

After wrapping up his time in Clarion in 2017, Geraud moved to Fresno, CA to work with First Presbyterian Church Fresno to serve students at Fresno State University, Fresno Pacific University, and Fresno City College. In his time he has served Greek Life students, student athletes, and the general public at these universities.

Throughout this time, Geraud’s love for the Central Valley has grown deeper and wider. To see God working in and through the city of Fresno has been one of his most rewarding experiences. He is looking forward to the ways God will use him to serve the Central Valley Fuego community.

For fun, Geraud enjoys playing board and card games, laughing until he cries, and staying in connection with his family not located in Fresno. You can almost convince him to try anything once as long as snakes are not involved.
