Chaplain Jason Rollins

Biography

Jason Rollins was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador where his parents were missionaries with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Upon moving back to the United States to attend college, Rollins was a four-year collegiate soccer player at Alliance University and pursued a soccer career after college, playing two summers in the Professional Development League with the Chicago Eagles. During his time with the Eagles, Jason participated in 2 soccer missions trips with Missionary Athletes International.

He received his undergraduate degree in Religion from Alliance University in New York and a Masters in Education from Northern Illinois University. Rollins has been teaching in schools and coaching sports for over 20 years. He currently serves as the Athletic Director at Colorado Springs Christian Schools.

Rollins has led 4 missions trips to Quito, Ecuador with his soccer players over the past 8 years. He has been a requester for Soccer Chaplains United’s Community Project program on three of those four trips. His first trip was led alongside former Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC Chaplain, Kurt Trempert who served the team and was with Soccer Chaplains United for 9 years (2015-2023).

Jason is married to Kristin and has four daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys running and swimming.

He serves as an Elder at Clayhouse Church.

Jason, serves as the volunteer chaplain for the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, a position he has held since 2024. Jason is the second chaplain in the history of the team.
