Jubal McDaniel was born in Austin, TX and moved to Puyallup, WA in 2009. He currently serves as the Elementary Athletic Director at Cascade Christian Schools, where he also coaches the junior high and high school girls soccer teams.

Jubal graduated from Northwest University in 2013 with a BA in Ministry Leadership.

As a part of Soccer Chaplains United, Jubal serves as a volunteer chaplain to the Tacoma Defiance, a team in the MLS Next Pro League, a role he started in 2020.

Jubal’s ministry experience also includes roles at Renovo Church and Northwest Church, working with youth and young adults. In 2013, he founded a local soccer ministry called NW Football Ministries, providing opportunities for low-income families to play soccer.

Jubal and his wife, Sam, have been married since 2011, and they have four children. Outside of ministry and soccer, Jubal’s interests include coffee, drumming, mountain biking, snowboarding, fishing and playing Xbox.

He is a Seattle Sounders (MLS) and Everton (EPL) fan.
