Patrick is a volunteer chaplain with Soccer Chaplains United and has been the Lead Pastor of Covenant Church in San Diego since 2014.

Patrick was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2004 with a B.A. in business and Beeson Divinity School at Samford University with an MDiv in 2011.

At Wheaton, Patrick was a four-year starter and captain of the soccer team. He also played in the PDL for the Chicago Fire Reserves and Chicago Eagles. After graduation, he served one year as an assistant coach at Wheaton College, worked as a bond trader through the Chicago Board of Trade, and helped with a start-up company in Scottsdale, AZ.

While at Wheaton, he met his wife, Kennerly. They have three sons: Micah, Jonah, and Ezra. Patrick enjoys reading, exploring San Diego, travel adventures with the family, and all things soccer.
