The Neighborhood Church in Littleton, Colorado is partnering with Children of Hope to serve two orphanages--in Nairobi and Kitale, Kenya from August 7 to August 20, 2014. The five member team, led by Pastor Mike Klassen will be conducting a Vacation Bible School for the children in the orphanage while they are on summer break and will look to integrate soccer into the program for the kids as well. This is the second mission trip that our congregation has done and part of our vision is to build relationships so that our church members can support the children in these orphanages. For Paul Grizzle, India is close to his heart. It was his first mission trip in 2011 at the end of his freshman year at Valor Christian High School that first got him excited about serving and loving the poor and "untouchables" of India's caste system. The recent Valor Christian High School Discovery trip to the slums of Kolkata, India and surrounding villages was the third such trip that Grizzle has undertaken and this time, he took some used equipment from the Colorado Rapids to distribute to some of the poorest of the poor in the world.
