  • This week, we encourage CrossTraining supporters to keep the Timothy Project: Valor Kenya 2016 team in your prayers as the team departs on their two week trip. The team will use soccer as part of their ministry to to reach out especially to the children that have been severely affected by AIDs.   • This week, we encourage CrossTraining supporters to keep the Timothy Project: Valor Guatemala 2016 team in your prayers as the team has landed in Guatemala. The team will use futból (soccer) to reach out to children and teens of various villages. Team leader Danny Brooks and his team of students and adults will look to engage communities to come out and play soccer with and use this community building time as a platform for sharing the Gospel and connecting them with the local church.   • CrossTraining has received another Timothy Project request from Valor Christian High School and the Math and Science Instructor/Team Leader Greg Blake. Blake and his Valor team of 25 (21 students and 4 faculty) will depart to Kenya June 16-30. Valor for a number of years now have been working with H.E.A.R.T and Children of Hope. Children of Hope, an orphanage in Kenya was an early Timothy Project recipient in 2011. Valor Christian High School’s Discovery Kenya program provides a unique opportunity for students and school faculty to serve and support widows and orphans. The Kenya Discovery Team will partner with H.E.A.R.T Ministries and Children of Hope to bring healing and empowerment to widows, orphans, and others impacted by poverty and HIV/AIDS and other diseases.   • CrossTraining is pleased to announce that they will partner again with Valor Christian High School and the Spanish Instructor/Team Leader Danny Brooks. Brooks and his Valor team of students and adults have been traveling to Guatemala for a number of years now to reach individuals and entire communities with the Gospel. In 2015 and 2014, CrossTraining helped to support and supply the Valor team's work within several impoverished areas in Guatemala. The Valor team returns to work with Vida Abundante Church for two weeks in June. The church is located near Zacapa, Guatemala and the team will look to use futból (soccer) as an instrument to reach out to children and teens of various villages and continue to build the relationships that their trips have developed on previous
