LIFE is preparing to relocate to the heart and purpose of their organization, Liberia. CrossTraining's Timothy Project: Liberia 2017 is grateful to have the opportunity to reach the people of Liberia again through Thomas Fahn's Liberian Institute For Empowerment (L.I.F.E.). Fahn recently sent an update on the state of Liberia in light of the latest events in the area. We are struck by what Fahn has to share and  even more honored to help make a difference for the children of Liberia. Fahn writes, "As you know, Liberia came from fourteen years of brutal civil war, which ravaged the country’s economic, health, and education infrastructures. In what has been one of the more difficult projects to see fulfilled,  Timothy Project: Liberia 2015 and the goal of Liberian Institute for Empowerment (L.I.F.E.) was to fill and send a shipping container from Colorado to Liberia. The container was finally packed with a lot of soccer equipment, school supplies, and even a vehicle. Last year, CrossTraining announced the Timothy Project: Liberia 2015 and the goal of Liberian Institute for Empowerment (L.I.F.E.) to fill a shipping container from Colorado to send to Liberia with soccer equipment and school supplies. CrossTraining initially gave over 500 pieces of soccer equipment including Colorado Rapids jerseys, cones, training vests, backpacks, and cleats for the container project. Then, in May 2016, CrossTraining was able to provide an additional 300 jerseys to add to the container before loading day.
